“I’m happy to be associated with Palmer, which is a brand I have been a fan of for many years before they even knew who I was. The marriage of classic gear with a forward thinking attitude makes them a great company to work with!”

Even though most interviews and press on Fill The Sky will not be published for the next few weeks, some have started to trickle out, especially on the internet. Here’s a couple from Spanish blogs DoceCompases and Desafinados.

Fill The Sky, Andre’s iTunes Bestseller album, has been shipped to a CD manufacturing facility and should be available soon. While main distribution will remain digital, we will make the CDs available soon for online purchasing as well as at shows, clinics, and events. We will be announcing concerts soon as well some major radio and press promotion to begin in the next few weeks. Stay tuned for more news and as always many thanks to everyone for your continued support!
Today marks one week since the release of Fill The Sky for worldwide digital distribution, and we are excited to report that not only has it reached the Top2 in the iTunes Spanish Rock Charts and become the best selling rock record during the week, but it has been hanging in the top 10 ever since release, competing with major artists such as Queen, Bowie, and Dire Straits. Fill The Sky has yet to abandon the top10 on the iTunes Rock Charts, and with some press coming up in the next few days and your help, it might even come back to higher positions.
However this goes, we hope it serves as motivation and proof that independent artists do have a chance to make their music reach the masses, and to go head to head with major acts even without the backing of a big corporation and huge publicity budgets. So good luck to all self-distributed musicians out there!
